I imagine nearly everyone knows the song from The Sound of Music entitled: "A Few of My Favorite Things", right? Well, since Lydia was a baby, it was one of her favorite songs, and one that I sang to her often. In fact, the day that she had her first bone marrow aspiration, and had her broviac implanted in her chest, I sang this song to her to help her relax while awaiting sedation. It was one of many songs we used to get through the many procedures she underwent. Many people have asked for a CD of the songs I sang during some difficult days in the hospital, and so we are happily trying to oblige that request and to make it happen. This page is entitled "A Few of My Favorite Things" because it contains links to some of Lydia's favorite activities and places. So, click on the link and enjoying getting to know a little bit more about our Liddy. We hope that all of our fund-raising activities can reflect a portion of "A Few of Her Favorite things."
